Award-Winning Children’s Book Series

Hello, My Name is Bunny!

Who would imagine that a small, adorable tuxedo cat could change your life? Well, it happened to us! When we adopted Bunny, we soon learned that half a million cats are homeless in NYC alone! With this in mind, we decided to find a way to help the incredible groups and volunteers that make life better for cats in need.

And so, we created a children’s chapter book series about Bunny’s wild, whacky, and perilous adventures paying forward her good fortune, inspired by hours of imagining what Bunny might get up to, if given half a chance.

Why we do this

Our mission is to help create awareness of the plight of millions of abandoned, feral, or lost cats. We also want to raise funds to support the shelters that work so hard to help forgotten felines find loving, forever homes, and where we can, to support Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) groups in their efforts to responsibly manage homeless cat populations.

Through storytelling, we hope to entertain, engage, and encourage children and animal lovers of all ages to join us on a journey to create a kinder, more empathetic world in which everyone understands the importance of treating all animals—including humans—with respect, dignity, and compassion.

Bunny is a small kitty with a big heart, appearing in a children’s book series

A small kitty with a big heart

Our children’s chapter book series features a small kitty with a big heart who’s finally found her fur-ever home. Yet Bunny can’t seem to enjoy her good luck knowing other animals aren’t as fortunate as she is. This desire to help those in need compels Bunny to escape her safe, comfy home and embark on wild adventures, so far in New York, London, and Paris. Who knows where Bunny will find herself next?

We donate to KittyKind NYC for every Hello, My Name is Bunny! book we sell on our website. Occasionally, we partner with other U.S. rescue and shelter groups, and will always share those details here. We donate for every product we sell, and are 100% committed to transparency. That’s why we will always tell you exactly how much the donation is on every product. See our individual product listings for details.

Reader Reviews

After finishing this book, I was immediately consumed with jealousy. Bunny had so many fun-sounding adventures, and now I have, like, 50 things on my cat bucket list.
Thomas, That cat blog
This beautifully illustrated and equally beautifully written story will charm children and adults alike. I was pulled into the story from the very first page. As was the case with the first book, the antics of Bunny and her friends had me smiling throughout.
Ingrid King, The conscious cat
