Our Story
Who would imagine that a small, adorable tuxedo cat could change your life? Well, it happened to us! When we adopted Bunny, we soon learned that half a million cats are homeless in NYC alone! With this in mind, we decided to find a way to help the incredible groups and volunteers that make life better for cats in need.
Matt’s a published adult fiction author, so we decided to create a children’s illustrated chapter book series about Bunny’s adventures paying forward her good fortune, inspired by hours of imagining what Bunny might get up to, if given half a chance. We have two goals: To help children to understand the power of kindness and empathy, and to raise money for the groups that work so hard to make a difference. We hope you’ll join us on this journey!
To pay forward our good fortune in adopting Bunny, we donate to KittyKind, and other U.S. rescue and shelter groups from every product we sell on our website. See Our Donations page for more details.

Reader Reviews
After finishing this book, I was immediately consumed with jealousy. Bunny had so many fun-sounding adventures, and now I have, like, 50 things on my cat bucket list. Thomas, That cat blog
This beautifully illustrated and equally beautifully written story will charm children and adults alike. I was pulled into the story from the very first page. As was the case with the first book, the antics of Bunny and her friends had me smiling throughout. Ingrid King, The conscious cat
We’re in love! Wonderful book, amazing art, beautiful story. We love you, Bunny! Highly recommend and we’ll be telling our friends about you. Vanille, etsy review

All of us who care have a role to play when it comes to helping make life kinder for homeless and abandoned animals. Remember, every little helps! What we owe homeless animals
When I was five years old, a tiny tortoiseshell kitten bounded into my life. My mother answered a knock at the door one day and found a group of well-meaning teenage boys carrying this adorable bundle of fluff. They wanted to know if she belonged to us. My mom’s maternal instinct immediately kicked in, compelling… Read More »
